Novated lease tax benefits on a Smart™ lease are a combination of savings, including:

Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) is a tax employers pay on certain benefits, including novated leases. In most cases the cost of FBT is offset through your lease using post‑tax contributions (ECM). Eligible electric cars are exempt from FBT, making them even more cost‑effective.
The process starts with getting a personalised novated lease quote for a BMW i7 or other cars, including accessories, running costs and different lease terms. Once you’re happy with the package, it’s time to apply for finance.

After delivery, Smart manages all payments and running‑cost budgets for you.
At the end of your term, you can choose to:
- Pay the residual value owed and own the car.
- Refinance the residual and keep leasing.
- Upgrade to a new car.
