Performance
A single front-mounted permanent magnet motor delivers 160kW and 320Nm to the front wheels, with Eco, Normal and Sport drive modes and adjustable energy recovery. Claimed 0-100km/h times sit at around seven seconds depending on variant. WLTP range reaches up to 475km in the larger-battery 2026 specification, and the EX5 supports 11kW AC charging and DC fast charging at up to 100kW.
Practicality
Cargo capacity measures 302 litres with the second row in use, increasing to 1,877 litres with the 60:40 split-fold rear seats lowered. The rear bench offers two-stage recline, a central armrest and a storage drawer, and ISOFIX and top-tether anchor points suit child seats. At 4,615mm long on a 2,750mm wheelbase, the EX5 is a manageable size for suburban streets, with V2L available for powering appliances or tools.
Features
Seven airbags and a long list of active safety technology are standard, including autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance, blind spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert with braking and a surround view monitor. Inside are a 15.4-inch display, 10.2-inch instrument cluster, satellite navigation, over-the-air updates and Geely connected services. Inspire adds a head-up display, ambient lighting and a premium 16-speaker sound system.
