The Sportage Hybrid pairs a 1.6L turbo petrol engine with an electric motor and a 6-speed automatic, available in front-wheel or all-wheel drive. Kia also offers a 2.0L turbo diesel with an 8-speed automatic and AWD on diesel variants. Selectable Drive Modes personalise the driving experience, while Terrain Mode optimises traction, stability and control in mud, snow or sand, after an extensive Australian ride and handling program.
Practicality
Kia highlights generous second-row passenger room and a larger luggage area, and remote-folding second-row seats are available from the SX variant on hybrids. Everyday convenience includes a Smart Power Tailgate that opens when the owner stands behind it for three seconds, plus USB charge ports and a wireless phone charger on GT-Line. The fastback-style roofline houses a panoramic glass roof on GT-Line.
Features
All variants include a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Kia Connect with over-the-air updates and AEB with junction assist. GT-Line adds a curved dual 12.3-inch display, head-up display, Harman Kardon audio, heated and ventilated front seats, surround view monitor and Blind Spot View Monitor. Remote Smart Park Assist is also fitted on GT-Line, though Kia notes it should not be used in WA.

Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) is a tax employers pay on certain benefits, including novated leases. In most cases the cost of FBT is offset through your lease using post‑tax contributions (ECM). Eligible electric cars are exempt from FBT, making them even more cost‑effective.
The process starts with getting a personalised novated lease quote for a Kia Sportage or other cars, including accessories, running costs and different lease terms. Once you’re happy with the package, it’s time to apply for finance.
