The Tesla Model 3 is a midsize electric sedan with a 5-star ANCAP safety rating, a minimalist touchscreen-led cabin and seating for five. Buyers can choose rear-wheel-drive Premium, Premium Long Range or Performance variants, with the Premium Long Range RWD claiming up to 750km of WLTP range. It brings low-running-cost electric driving, Autopilot driver assistance and a five-year unlimited-kilometre warranty to commuters and families.
Performance
The Model 3 Premium Long Range RWD is rated at up to 750km WLTP on 18-inch wheels, or 691km on 19-inch wheels, and accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 5.2 seconds. Tesla also lists charging that adds up to 311km of range in 15 minutes, based on constant 100km/h motorway efficiency. Other variants, including the rear-wheel-drive Premium and the Performance, offer different range and acceleration figures.
Practicality
Despite its sleek sedan shape, the Model 3 lists up to 682 litres of cargo space, combining its rear boot with a front trunk, which suits groceries, luggage and weekend gear. It seats five and measures roughly 4.7 metres in length, so it fits comfortably into city parking and daily commutes. Premium variants add an 8-inch rear touchscreen for second-row passengers.

A 15.4-inch centre touchscreen puts navigation, media and vehicle settings in a single display, while Autopilot driver assistance is listed as standard on new Tesla vehicles. Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) is a tax employers pay on certain benefits, including novated leases. In most cases the cost of FBT is offset through your lease using post‑tax contributions (ECM). Eligible electric cars are exempt from FBT, making them even more cost‑effective.
The process starts with getting a personalised novated lease quote for a Tesla Model 3 or other cars, including accessories, running costs and different lease terms. Once you’re happy with the package, it’s time to apply for finance.
